Mrs. Helen Franklin, age 74, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Franklin was born in Johnson City and daughter of the late Parrot & Hattie Willen Hawkins. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Franklin, Jr.
She had worked for Gordon Furniture and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Franklin and Patricia Martin, both of Johnson City; grandchildren, Adam Porter, Wesley Porter, Daniel Martin, Michael Barnett, and Russell Cochran; great-granddaughter, Christy Cochran; great-great grandsons, Austin Porter and Nathan Wilson; three brothers, Randy Hawkins, Jim Hawkins and Lynn Hawkins; and two sisters, Lois Williams and Orlay Arnold.
Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at The Way of the Cross Baptist Church (104 Guy Street Johnson City) with Pastor Jack Maupin officiating.
