Mr. Paul David Mitchell Dixon Sr., age 67, Johnson City, passed away, Tuesday March 24, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Dixon was a native of Johnson County, but lived all his life in Washington County. He was the son of Evelyn Dixon Mitchell and son of the late Earl Tomas Mitchell Sr. He was also preceded in death by a brother Kenny.
Mr. Dixon retired from OK Tire Company.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Ponce (Raymundo), Johnson City, one son Paul D. Dixon Jr.,(Kimberly) Jonesborough, nine Grandchildren; Rebecca, Tashia, David, Alex, Felicia, Elvia, Raymundo, Martha, and Margaret, five Great Grandchildren; Christian, Diego, Bentley, Brayden and Ruth, four brothers; Tommy , Charlie , Gary , and Robert Mitchell , three sisters; Patsy, Mary, and Carolyn , and former wife Barbara Dixon.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 PM Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Urbana Cemetery with Rev. Lenny Smith officiating.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Roark, Bruce Lewis, Scotty Scott, Erick Miller, Mark Landers, and Jerry Blevins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Mitchell Jr. and Josh Landers
