Mrs. Nola Mae Walker, age 83, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Walker was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Bruce & Debbie Collins Payne. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howell Marvin Walker, two sons, Roy Lee Walker and Ricky Lynn Walker and two sisters, Pearl Miller and Wanda Blankenship.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and retired from Asbury Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Delzingo (Mike), Telford, Judy Walker, and Fran Jones (Lee), all of Johnson City; son Bobby Joe Walker (Wanda), Aostel, GA; brother, Ralph Payne, Johnson City; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, Adrian Story and Ethan Tarlton; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Dykes, Cody Tarlton, Bobby Joe Walker, Jr, Marty Dykes, Kyle Tarlton and Brian Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Tarlton, Larry Tarlton, Butch Walker and Lee Jones, Jr.
