EULOGIES & CONDOLENCES
Martha, I am so sorry that I was unable to travel today for Jerry's memorial! I wanted so bad to be there but my own health won't allow me to drive long distances anymore by myself. My prayers and thoughts are with you and the family today and always! I have never had a friend like Jerry nor do I believe will I ever again. He was my boss, business associate, and most of all friend I loved him as if he was my own brother and will miss him everyday for the rest of my life!!
Martha, sorry to hear about Jerry. You all are in
our prayers and thoughts.
Martha,
I was so sorry to hear about Jerry when Peter Stryker reached out and let me know he passed away after his battle with cancer. I feel terrible that I had not talked to Jerry in a while, and was not aware of what he was going through. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
I know it has been many years, but wanted to let you know how much I appreciated everything Jerry did for me. Jerry took a chance on me by hiring me for my first sales job out of college with Ideal Security Hardware. I still laugh about him telling me that I was the least qualified of everyone who interviewed, but he hired me because I was the only one who asked for the job. I learned a lot from Jerry, and he was like a father to me when I lived in Johnson City away from my family in Minnesota.
I also feel fortunate that my family had a chance to meet Jerry for dinner on a family vacation when we passed through Johnson City in 2012. Kim and my kids Sami and Kyle finally got to meet my old boss Jerry they heard so much about. We had an awesome time at dinner, and of course Jerry was a big hit with them.
Again, so sorry to hear about Jerry.
With Deepest Sympathy
Terry & Kim Faust and Family
