Mr. Paul Howard Privette, Jr. age 77, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Privette was born in Sullivan County and son of the late Paul Privette, Sr. & Georgia Snyder Privette. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Hulse Privette, son, Paul Emmanuel Privette, sister, Bernice Sherfey and two brothers, Harold Privette and Danny Privette.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Privette was a general contractor of Privette Construction and Coronado Stone.
He was Past Master of Arcada Lodge #489 F&AM. He loved hunting, fishing and working on old cars and trucks.
Survivors include his wife, Leona Bell Privette, Jonesborough; one son, Dennis Privette, Bluff City; two daughters and son-in-law, Janice & Michael Brown, Jupiter, FL and Sharon Williams, Jonesborough; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth P. & Linda Privette, Wayne & Carolyn Privette, Donald & Misty Privette and Jimmy & Patricia Privette; four sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Crawford, Barbara & Bob Roush, Naomi Hall and Wanda Tester; and a side-kick, Sheba.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Chaplain Eddie DeVault officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Privette, Wayne Privette, Donald Privette, Jimmy Privette, William Michael Brown and Johnny Hulse.
