Mrs. Marrian Marie Smith, age 67, Johnson City, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Smith was born in Washington County, TN and daughter of the late Albert & Nola Yelton Hyder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Wallace Smith and two sisters, Brenda York and Jewel Richardson.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
Mrs. Smith was retired from Levi Strauss, but she conducted to do sewing and operations on the side.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who took care of her family and touched the lives of many. She loved to help family and friends and sow for them.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Vanessa Smith, Johnson City; grandsons, Dawson Smith and Bryson Fox; special niece, Nichole Bennett; niece, Kimberly York; nephew, Richard York; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl & Donna Hyder, Jimmy & Pat Yelton and Glen “Sonny” & Alina Yelton; and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial services for Mrs. Smith will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, February 28th, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 802 John Exum Parkway in Johnson City.
