Mr. Phillip “Pie” Aaron Keys, 73, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015.
Mr. Keys was born in Greene County, Tennessee son of the late Ross and Mildred Dotson Keys. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee Keys, and son-in-law Larry Emmert.
Mr. Keys was a diesel mechanic and truck driver. He loved playing Rook with his friends at Pioneer Market.
Mr. Keys a member of New Victory United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Jill Emmert, Jonesborough; sons Jackie Keys, Telford and Jason Keys, Jonesborough; granddaughter Cassie Emmert, Jonesborough; grandson Aaron Keys of the home; brothers Bill Keys, Telford and David Keys, Jonesborough; sisters Wilma Jean Chandley, Greeneville, Shirley Broyles, Telford, and Betty Arrowood, Midland, N.C.
Graveside services for Mr. Keys will be conducted Tuesday, February 17, 11:00 AM at New Victory United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Fowler officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bill Keys, Ricky Ledford, Ivan Rice, Bob Keplinger, Midget Cloyd, David Keys, and Ronnie Cloyd. The family will receive friends at the home of a daughter, 195 L. C. McKee Road, Jonesborough, TN.
