Ms. Barbara Ann Cleek, Limestone, who just celebrated her 60th birthday on January 23, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 07, 2015, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
Ms. Cleek was a native of Washington County and the daughter of the late Jessie Edward Cleek and Mary Ella Hicks Cleek, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, William B. and Velva Hicks and Vernon and Florence Cleek, and a special cousin Alan Cleek.
Ms. Cleek was employed by Walmart, on Market Street, Johnson City.
Barbara was of the Christian faith and an active member of Mount Bethel Christian Church.
She was a 1972 graduate of Washington College Academy. She enjoyed reading, life and her puppy Dusty.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Mona and Ed Norton, of Limestone, step-mother Joann Ford, of Jonesborough, step-brothers, Brian Ford and wife Dawn, David Ford and wife Donna, step-sister Susan Fields and husband Kenny, two aunts, Ruth Deel, Kingsport, and Peggy Moore and husband Robert, of Kingsport, and several cousins.
A special thanks to all her Walmart friends who were like family, Four Oaks Health Care and Rehab, Amedisys of Greeneville, and special caregiver, Shirley Campbell, for all the love and support.
Funeral services for Ms. Cleek will be Monday February 9, 2015 7:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Kyle Taft officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the service.
Graveside services will be Tuesday February 10, 2015 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kingsport, TN everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
Donations may be made to Mount Bethel Christian Church, 361, Clear springs Rd, Limestone TN 37681.

I just found out today of Barbara's passing. Barbara and I spoke a few times at Wal Mart. We spoke of the time we would retire. Barbara is in a much better place. Please except my condolences. I know she loved you very much Mona.

Very sorry to hear about Barbara. Had no idea she was sick. Without good ole Aunt Marjorie I don't hear much. I want all you Cleeks to know I love you. I can gaurantee you Barbara and Aunt Marjorie are catching up on old times right now with the rest of the bunch. We will all be at that party some day! God Bless Barbara!! dp
