Mrs. Madeline Keefauver Overbay, age 94, Gray, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at her residence.
She was a lifelong resident of the Boones Creek Community. She was a graduate of Boones Creek High School and a member of the Boones Creek Christian Church.
Mrs. Overbay was preceded in death by her parents Bryan and Ruth Keefauver and her husband Donald Overbay, SR. who passed away in 1991, son Anthony Overbay who died at birth, and grandson Tim Overbay.
Mrs. was a homemaker, a retired farmer and a caregiver for many of her family, and friends.
Survivors include three sons Donnie Overbay, Leon Overbay and wife Pam, and Lynn Overbay, and wife Peggy, grandchildren, Kevin, Keith, and Tony; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Allison, Alexa, McKinley, Sydney, and Jake. One sister, Evelyn McCall, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Serves for Mrs. Overbay will be Wednesday January 14, 2015 7:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Minister David Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 5- 7:00 PM prior to the service.
Graveside will be Thursday January 15, 2015 11:00 AM at Highland Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
