Mr. Lee Roy Bailey, age 71, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Bailey was born in Washington County to the late Estel Lee Bailey and Edith Mary Kimery Malone.
He retired from Irby Construction as an electrician. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his friends and family and especially enjoyed spending time with his nephews and nieces. He lit up the room with his smiles and his sense of humor was contagious. He was an avid UT football fan.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Bailey; son, Shannon Bailey; sister, Janice Bailey Bradley; brothers, Dan Bailey, Wayman Bailey and Allen Bailey; special friend, April Miller; step-mother, Jackie Bailey; and several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in memory of Mr. Bailey to First Baptist Church of Greeneville Building Fund 211 N. Main Street Greeneville, TN 37745.
Private services will be conducted.
