Marilynn Kay Saylor, born February 27, 1946, of Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Ms. Saylor was born in Jonesborough and daughter of the late John & Meryle Scott Saylor. She was also preceded in death by John Saylor and his wife, Phyllis as well as a sister-in-law, Sharon Saylor.
She was a member of the Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.
Ms. Saylor worked at the Banking and Trust in Jonesborough while attending ETSU. Marilynn graduated in 1968 with a B.S. Degree in Business, then moved on to Tri State Bolt and Screw. She retired from Harmon Ice and Coal due to medical issues.
Survivors include her sisters, Patty Saylor and Beth Burleson; a brother, Frank A. Saylor; several nephews and nieces, Sarah Bates, Johnnie Sue Hawley, John Saylor, Rock Saylor and Leigh Anne Hieronymus; great-nieces and nephews, Isaac, Ian and Israel Bates, Gabe and Isabel Hawley and Ben and Jack Saylor.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Huff officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Sunday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
