Mrs. Anna Mildred Arnold Broyles, 87, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Lakebridge Health Care Center.
Mrs. Broyles was born in Washington County, daughter of the late Charlie and Anna Zetta Arnold.
Mrs. Broyles was also proceeded in death by her husband of 41 years, Roy Lawrence Broyles.
She was a housewife, a longtime member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, a member of the Lamar Demonstration Club, The Tops Club, and the Bethesda Women’s Society.
Survivors include her daughter, Faye Broyles Hale Treadway (Gene), Jonesborough; sons Roy Joe Broyles (Kathy), Fall Branch and Charles Glen Broyles (Peggy), Jonesborough; brother Clarence Glen Arnold (Lou), Bowmantown; grandchildren Neil Hale (Tina), Aaron Hale (Kim), Jeremy Broyles (Joleene), Mark Osborne, Michael Broyles (Karen), and Sarah Broyles Webb (Brad); great grandchildren Cody Hale, Courtney Hale, Alex Hale, Lily Hale, Kaydence Broyles, Elijah Broyles, Ethan Broyles, and Lacie Ann Broyles.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM, Monday December, 22 2014 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Reverend Clyde Hester and Reverend Jake Herron officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the service and other times at the home of Faye and Gene, 4712 Cherokee Road, Jonesborough and the home of Charles and Peggy, 236 Old Wagon Road, Jonesborough.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family request those attending the graveside service meet at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Butler, Mitch Taylor, Steve Broyles, Butch Edwards, J. L. Evans, and Chuck Arnold. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Arnold, Neil Hale, Aaron Hale, Jeremy Broyles, Michael Broyles, Sarah Broyles Webb, and Mark Osborne.
