Mr. Donald David “Axel” Hewitt, age 77, Limestone, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Hewitt was born in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Survivors include long-time companion, Evelyn Merriman, of the home; adopted family, Margaret Mullins, David Cole, Rodger Cole (Lucy), Harry Cole (Lola), Fred Cole (Mary), and Ernest Cole (Mary Lou); and many little special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:45 PM Friday, December 19, 2014 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
