Mr. Arthur Fay Broyles, 88, Limestone, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Durham-Hensley Nursing Home, Chuckey.
Mr. Broyles was a native of Washington County, the son of the late Arley Hobart and Ollie Hylton Broyles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Kate Phillips, and Mildred Philllips, and one brother Kyle Broyles.
He was a member of Mt. Wesley Methodist Church.
Fay was a lifelong farmer and he loved to go fishing.
Mr. Broyles was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years Doris Phillips Broyles, one son Harold Broyles; one brother Glea Broyles; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Broyles will be Thursday November 13, 2014, 7:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 -7:00 PM prior to the service.
Interment will be Friday November 14, 2014, 11:00 AM at Mt Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Dillow, Bill Dykes, Kenny Woods, Tim Humphreys, Kyle Moore, and Benton Slemons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Slemons, and Darrell Woods.
