Ms. Betty Jo Schaaf Autrey, Unicoi, age 81 went home to be with her Lord on Friday October 17, 2014.
She was a native of Erwin TN and the daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Autrey. She was also preceded in death by her son Stephen Autry; three sisters and one brother.
Ms. Autrey was a member of Greater Anointing Church.
Survivors include one daughter Teresa Taylor and husband Charlie, grandchildren, Scotty Leonard, John Seehorn Jr, Myles Autry, Shay Autry and eleven others; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Polly Leonard, Ida Lee Ellis; and several nieces and newphews.
Teresa would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Autrey’s nephew Bobby Cowles and Allora for the special care and love for her Mom till the end of her illness and also thank you to Polly Leonard and Mountain States Hospice.
Teresa wants to thank the Lord for people like her mother that is willing to give their body to science in order to help others live.
