Ms. Carrie Sue Evans, age 89, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at the Lakebridge Healthcare Center.
Ms. Evans was born in Jonesborough and daughter of the late George Thomas & Georgia Spence Evans. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Sam Evans, Frank Evans, Bill Evans, Jake Evans and Bud Evans, and three nephews, George Evans, Walter Evans and Harvey Evans.
She was a member of Union Christian Church.
Survivors include nephew, Doug Evans; nieces, Robin Rose, Marsha Barnett and Sandy Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Palma Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Monday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Speedwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
