Carole L. Broyles went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Joseph Broyles, parents, Lundy and Eva Lingo, sister, Sue Scally.
She was a member of Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.
Carole lived a productive life caring for her family and being a continuous pillar of support. She was a phenomenal mother and grandmother and will be profoundly missed.
Survivors include her children Jeff Broyles and Vicki Broyles Woodward. Her grandchildren Ashley and Kevin Bowling, Alex Broyles, and Rachel and Hunter Taylor. Her great-grandchildren Paisley Bowling and Chase Taylor as well as her sister Barbara Lingo Wildman. In addition to her family she is survived by her beloved canine companion, Crickett.
A private family graveside service will be held Wednesday September 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either the American Humane Society or Washington County Animal Shelter.
