Mr. Eugene Lee Riddle, age 79, Jonesborough, passed away Thursday July 24, 2014 at his residence.
He was a native of Unicoi, TN and the son of the late Chapel and Anner Tipton Riddle, Mr. Riddle was also preceded in death by his wife, Willia Faye Riddle.
Mr. Riddle was a United States Army Veteran.
Lee retired from General Shale. He enjoyed old cars, traveling, and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Diane Slivers (Maynard), Melvin Riddle (Louise), and Belinda Casey (Hyder); grandchildren Crystal, Travis, Shannon, Mahlon, Melody, Tracy, and April; elven great-grandchildren, one sister Josephine Riddle and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday July 26, 2014 8:00 PM at Dillow- Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Murdock and Rev. Otis Banks officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM prior to the service.
Graveside services will be Sunday July 27, 2014 2:00 PM at Bumpass Cove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Maynard Silvers, Hyder Casey, Joe Byers, Brad Richardson, and Kenneth Lee.
