Mr. Ivan “Bud” Bailey, age 78, Jonesborough, passed away at his residence Friday, July 11, 2014.
Mr. Bailey was born in Washington County and son of the late Jesse & Texie Hensley Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Emmie Bailey, son, Danny Bailey, siblings, Justine “Jim” Bailey, Carl Lee Bailey and Ruby Bailey Jeffers.
He was a member of Highland Church of Christ.
Mr. Bailey enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, David & Evelyn Bailey, Knoxville and Darren Bailey, Barnegutt, NJ; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & Jerry Squitieri, Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Matthew Tyler Bailey, Johnson City and Jessica Lyn Squitieri, Roanoke; brothers and sisters, Beatrice Babb, Greeneville, William “Charles” Bailey (Joann), Greeneville, Katherine Archer, Jonesborough, Robert “Bobby” Bailey (Judy), South Carolina and Douglas Bailey (Marilyn), South Carolina; sister-in-law, Princie Bailey, Greeneville; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
