James Emory Huskins

Mr. James Emory Huskins, 90, Erwin, Tn. passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Christian Care Center of Johnson City.
He was a native of Washington County the son of the late Judge and Beaulah Huskins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Lockner Huskins, three brothers, Clyde, Frank, and Paul Huskins, and three sisters, Cidie Lockner, Beatrice Woodfin, and Thelma Howard.
Mr. Huskins was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in World War II in the South Pacific and Japan.
He was of the Baptist Faith attending Mt. Odell Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his brother Johnny Huskins and wife Ruby of Erwin, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Huskins will be Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 3 pm at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Bolden and Rev. Russell Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 3 pm prior to the service. Interment services will follow in Bumpass Cove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
