Mr. Bobby Joe Kinley, age 76, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Kinley was a native of Washington County and son of the late Horace & Nola Staten Kinley. He was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Jonesborough.
Mr. Kinley retired from the town of Jonesborough and had worked at Klopman Mills.
He coached baseball for many years at Duncan Meadows and Persimmon Ridge. He enjoyed watching baseball, car racing, football and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Erma Fay Cavin Kinley, Jonesborough; two daughters, Melissa Kinley Barnett (Marcus), Paris, KY and Deborah Kinley, Johnson City; one son, Michael Joe Kinley (Brandi), Elizabethton; grandchildren, Ashley Kinley Maden (Caleb), Erwin, Michael Shane Turner, Gray, Issac Kinley, Johnson City, Kayla Barnett and Jordan Barnett, both of Paris, KY, Elijah Kinley and Houston Brown, both of Elizabethton; great-grandchildren, Ashton Kinley, Keatin Turner and Camden Kinley; three brothers, Jack Kinley (Marsha), Piney Flats, Wayne Kinley (Joyce) and Don Kinley (Kathy), all of Jonesborough; one sister, Judy Kinley Beard (Richard), Limestone; and several nephews and nieces.
He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Conkin and Pastor Danny Willis officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and Danny Francis.
