Mrs. Anna Katherine Oliver, age 74, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Oliver was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Horace & Viva Lou May Phillips. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Oliver.
She attended Chestnut Grove Union Church.
Mrs. Oliver was a member of Order of Eastern Star.
She was an Accountant for several local baking institutions.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby & Rebecca Oliver, Jonesborough; three sisters, Linda Curtis (Maynard), Charlotte Gentry (Danny) and Valerie Hughes, all of Jonesborough; three grandchildren, Aaron Oliver, Jennifer Halsey and Katelyn Oliver; six great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Ken Gaskins officiating.
Pallbearers will be Roy Foster, Orlis Francis, Mike Oliver, Jimmy Oliver, Danny Gentry, Dale Scott, Maynard Curtis and Joey Brummitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church of your choice.
