Ms. Nancy Carolyn Ramsey Grindstaff, 65, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Ms. Grindstaff was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Joe Anderson & Bertie Dixon Ramsey. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Marlor and a sister, Louise Hoss.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tanya & Kenny Waddell, Greeneville; one son, Stacy Carver, Nashville; brother and sister-in-law, Phil & Judy Ramsey, Jonesborough; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean & Larry King, Piney Flats, Janet & Mike Howell, Johnson City, Linda Ramsey Pierce, Gray and Sherry & Rickey Deakins, Jonesborough; grandchildren, Brittany Roark, Jeremy Carver, Candice Carver and Jody Carver; several great-grandchildren; special friend and fiancé, Ron Waterbury; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank Lisa Calhoun, Joanne Clark, the doctors and staff of Family Physicians of Johnson City for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Harold McNabb and Bro. Chad Lakey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
