Andrew Victor Gilliam, age 39, 390 Ducktown Road, Limestone, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his residence.
Andrew was the son of Candace Hutton and husband Charlie, Kingsport and Randy Gilliam and wife Della, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Gilliam and brother-in-law, Lee Dobbs.
Andrew graduated from Tennessee Technology Center in Elizabethton with a degree in Heat Pump Service Technology. He was the owner/operator of Rocket Air along with his son, Cody Gilliam.
Andrew was a loving husband, father, son, brother uncle, cousin, son-in-law and brother-in-law.
He loved playing the guitar, watching TV, writing poetry and loving on his pug, Pixie. She was his buddy.
In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by his wife of 17 years, Julie Eastep Gilliam of the home; son Cody Andrew Gilliam of the home; father and mother in-law, Sammy and Arleen Ross Eastep, Limestone; paternal grandfather Wallace Gilliam, maternal grandparents Victor and Betty Friend; three brothers, Matt Gilliam of Kingsport, Josh Gilliam and fiancé Brianne of Telford, and Isaac Gilliam of Bluefield, West Virginia; four sisters, Emilee Dobbs of Kentucky, Sarah Flanagan and husband Jon of Kingsport, Amanda Milhorn and husband Bo of Jonesborough, and Hannah Gilliam of Jonesborough; step brother David Dixon, step sister Beth Treadway and husband Randall; sister-in-law Shandon Eastep Morrison and husband Chad; nephews and nieces; Jordan Dobbs, Hayden Dobbs, and Walker Dobbs;Taylor and Victoria Flanagan, Roxy Morrison, Zoey Gilliam, Breanna, Maddie and Addie Treadway.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Buckles. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Flanagan, Matt Gilliam, Isaac Gilliam, Bo Milhorn, Randal Treadway, Josh Gilliam, and Chad Morrison.
