Mrs. Josephine Jackson, age 83, Telford, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Jackson was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late James K. Polk & Vinia N. Hammitt Toney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roby Jackson, two sisters, Annie Belle Cofer and Mary E. Byers and one brother, Charles L. Toney.
She was a member of the Mayberry Community Methodist Church.
Mrs. Jackson was a Homemaker.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Calvin W. & Patricia Jackson; sisters, Lillian L. Green, Fannie M. McKee and Judie Fletcher; special nephew and caregiver, Calvin Kepliner; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and special niece, Judy Lyons Metcalf.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2014 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. John Hitchew officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Friday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Mayberry-Vincent Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
