Mrs. Edna Charlene Dykes Saults, Jonesborough, age 86, passed away Sunday March 23, 2014 at Lakebridge Health Care Center, Johnson City.
She was a native of Chucky, TN and the daughter of the late Closen and Burma Phillips Dykes. She was also preceded in death by her husband Warren G. Saults, three brother, Kreed, Rex, and Ledon.
She was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Mrs. Saults belonged to the Jonesborough Business and Professional Women Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and most of all Traveling and shopping.
Mrs. Saults retired from General Shale after 32 years.
Mrs. Saults is survived by three sisters, Anne Segarra and husband Terry, Glen Livingston, all of Nashville, and Janice Baines, of Jonesborough; two brothers Jerry Dykes, of Limestone, and Billy Dykes, of Telford. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, two special friends, Jo Ann Painter and Ruth Spinkle.
The family would like to thank Lakebridge Health Care for their care of Mrs. Saults.
The family will receive friends Tuesday March 25, 2014 from 1:30-3:00PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside will follow at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jack Dykes officiating.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Baines, Michael Livingston, Mark Segarra, Keary Dykes and Terry Segarra.
