Phillip Alan Groves, 79, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday (March 11, 2014) at his residence in Limestone, TN.

He was born in Richwood, West Virginia June 2, 1934. He is proceeded in death by parents Hilda Ruth Stotler and Everett Sheridan Groves.

Surviving are his wife Betty Groves; brothers Fredrick "Rick" J. Mihalo and wife Julie; and Michael Mihalo; son Mitch Lau; son Matthew Groves and wife Brenda; son Mark Groves and wife Vicki; son Michael Groves; and one daughter. He had ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and also many nieces and nephews.

He served in the US army and retired from owning a television repair business. He enjoyed bowling and good ol country air.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Matthew Young officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mitch Lau, Matt Groves, Mark Groves, Mike Groves, Austin Lau, and Phillip Groves.
