Beatrice Johns Correll, Jonesboro, died February 14, 2014 at the Christian Care Center of Johnson City.
Mrs. Correll was a native of Rock Creek, Ohio. She was born on March 5, 1923. She was the daughter of Richard & Sarah Johns. She lived in Jonesboro since 1950. She was a Registered Nurse, a graduate of Mount Sinai Hospital of Cleveland, Ohio. She has worked at the Veterans Hospital, Johnson City Memorial Hospital, Indian Path Hospital of Kingsport, Regional Health Service and at the National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Mrs. Correll was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Evelyn and Ruth, four brothers David, William, Dick and Thomas.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Correll and wife Betty, of Gray, Kenneth Correll of Jonesboro, Chris Correll and wife Vicky of Limestone; five grandchildren, Chad Correll of Gray, Kasey Correll of Johnson City, Robyn Correll of Chicago, IL, Niki McCue and Kyle of Hampton, VA and Josh Correll and Alicia of Jonesboro; three great-grandchildren, Kirra Correll, Parker Scott and Ava Correll.
Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 PM Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday prior to the service.
