Janice “Jan” Lynn Taylor, age 47, Jonesborough, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Jan was born in Avery County, NC and daughter of Pat & June Seigler Taylor, Jonesborough. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph & Rosalie Seigler, South Carolina, and Jeff & Vernal Taylor, North Carolina.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Jan was a 1984 graduate of David Crockett High School, after school she began a career in marketing.
She loved spending time with her sisters, her nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, survivors include two brothers, Robert Taylor (Kim), Greeneville and David Taylor, Jonesborough; two sisters, Laura Taylor and Leslie Tittle (Matt), all of Jonesborough; special nephew, Nolan Tittle, and special niece Whitney Taylor; several nephews and nieces; special friends, Tracy King, Jay Bridwell and Henry Scott.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 PM Monday, January 27, 2014 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Richie Honeycutt and Pastor Robert Taylor officiating. The family will receive from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Seviers Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Campbell, Thomas Madison, McKinley Silvers, Brian Tapp, Billy Tittle, and Matt Tittle. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jay Bridwell, Sean Pitman, Henry Scott and Fred Whitson.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace Independent Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 13, Telford, Tenn. 37690.
My dearest cousin Jan, there hasnt been a single day
gone by that I havent thought of you and missed you,
same with Aunt June and the rest of the family you
were taking away from us way too soon but our love
for you will never go away, I know you are looking in
on us and I know without a doubt that heaven has one
beautiful angel, I love you so much, please make sure
and tell grandmama and grandaddy how much we love and
miss them too. R.I.P my sweet Jan

messages on here, Jan was one of a kind with such a
great heart and spirit with enough love to go around
for everyone, she will forever be missed but not
forgotten her spirit will forever live on through
