Mrs. Leah Hughes Butts, age 47, LaMesa, CA passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Butts was born in Johnson City and daughter of Col. Michael D. Hughes, Niceville, FL and Janet Miller Hughes, Destin, FL.
In addition to her parents survivors include her husband, Justin C. Butts, LaMesa, CA; and one sister, Jama Hughes, Destin, FL.
Inurnment services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Deacon George Frederick officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday at Gourmet & Company 24 East Mount Castle Dr. Johnson City, TN 37601.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation 6520 N. Andrews Ave. Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130.
