Mr. Mathew Bakala, age 87, Bradenton, FL, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Lakebridge Healthcare Center in Johnson City.

Mr. Bakala was born in Hammond, Indiana but retired to Bradenton Florida in 1976. He was the son of the late August & Mary Bakala. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Heller Bakala, two brothers August Bakala Jr. and Lawrence Bakala and three sisters, Dorothy Bakala, Helen Misch, and Agnes Bakala.

Mr. Bakala was of the Catholic faith.

He was a United States WWII Army Veteran.

Survivors include his daughter, Linda & husband Dennis Dotson, Greeneville and a grandson, Matthew Shaw, Greeneville.
