Mrs. Annie Grace Edwards, age 88, Limestone, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Christian Care Center of Johnson City.

Mrs. Edwards was a native of Unicoi and daughter of the late Preston and Martha Lucinda Hensley Martin. She was also preceded in death by her husband Maynard Edwards, infant daughter Rosie Edwards, son Virgil Edwards, grandson Christopher Carmack, and brother Vaughn Martin.

She was a housewife and loved her family.

Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law; Marilyn and Mike McCracken, Jonesborough; Evangeline and Tommy Edwards, Limestone; Teresa and Michael Carmack, Unicoi; Carolyn and Johnny Gray, Jonesborough; Donna Gillespie, Limestone; one son and daughter-in-law; Dennis and Tammy Edwards, Jonesborough; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law, Lola Belle and Arlie Parmentier, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM December 20, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend John Buchanan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 PM prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Edwards, Benjamin Edwards, Bo Edwards, Chad Gray, Zachary Ford, Alex Carmack, John Gray, and Mike Carmack. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicholas Gillespie, Mike McCracken, and Tommy Bennett.
