Mrs. Jerushia M. Bowser, age 75, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Franklin Woods Community Hospital.

Mrs. Bowser was native of Washington County and daughter of the late Benzo & Grace Gregg Bruner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Bowser.

She attended McKinley Memorial Bible Church.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Bowser and Lynn Bowser (Debra), all of Jonesborough; daughter, Teresa Riddle (Frank), Elizabethton; six grandchildren, Jamie Ervin, Jonesborough, Alicia Bowser, Jonesborough, Gregory Miller, Hampton, Marie Gass, Knoxville, Christina Marshall, Greeneville and Jamie Hunt, Jonesborough; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Vestal Bowser, Jonesborough; one sister, Nellie Dykes, Jonesborough; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Lenny Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at McKinley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
