Mr. Walla “Buck” Laws, age 82, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Unicoi County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Laws was a native of Washington County and son of the late Frank & Betty Thompson Laws. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Kermit Laws and four grandchildren.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Arnett Laws, Johnson City; children, Anna Nickles (Roger), James Laws (Joan), Marvin Laws (Debbie), Shirley Whited (Craig), Debra Solomon (Billy), Carmelita Murphy and Scotty Sutphin; 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
