William Kenneth "Kenny" Huffine

Mr. William Kenneth “Kenny” Huffine, age 78, Johnson City, passed away Friday November 29, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Huffine was a native of Washington County and the son of the late Clarence Wade and Mable R. Crawford Huffine.

After graduating from Jonesboro High School, Mr. Huffine joined the United Sates Army and served in Germany.

Mr. Huffine was also a life long member of the Jonesborough Riding Club and the Greenwood Ruritan.

Mr. Huffine retired from Kingsport Press and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ruby Jean Byrd Huffine, one son and daughter in law Kenny and Ellen Huffine, Johnson City, loving brothers and sisters in law; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Sunday December 1, 2013, 3:00PM at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Chaplin Richard Willis officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Huffine, Kippy Huffine, Shane Hunt, Matt Wilhoit, Steve Jones, and Kenny Huffine. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fred Chase, Larry Huffine, Lawton Saylor, Charlie Campbell, John Crawford, Joe Huffine, and Danny Huffine.

A Celebration of life service will be held 6:00 PM Monday December 2, 2013 at Eden United Methodist Church, Mill Springs Rd. Jonesborough, with Rev. Jake Herron officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Eden United Methodist Church, 1620 Mill Springs RD Jonesborough, TN 37659.
