Mr. Billy Higgins, age 73, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Billy was born in Johnson City and son of the late Flora & Arthur Higgins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Higgins, Richard Higgins, and Hugh Higgins, three sisters, Gladys Hicks, Elizabeth Majors and Dorothy Willis.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Billy enjoyed visiting the Jonesborough Flea Market.

Survivors include a brother, Johnny Cox, Blountville; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Minister Byron Paddock officiating.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Willis, Luke Willis, Brian Jones, Mark McCourry and Elmer Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Marion Willis, Danny Willis, Jackie Willis, Michael Willis and Larry Bacon.
