Brandt William Alexander Hamby, "LittleMan" to his family since he was born, returned to his creator earlier this week. Brandt passed Tuesday October 29, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and dedicated hospital staff. His family celebrates his life, the joy and curiosity that he has as an artist and the quiet insight that he taught us all to appreciate. Brandt celebrated his nineteenth birthday this September and was a recent graduate of Jefferson County High School. Brandt and his father recently moved to Johnson City and he began his studies at East Tennessee State University in the Digital Media Game Design program. His beauty, love and gentle nature will be remembered fondly by his parents Clarence and Cindy (White) Hamby and Margie Edwards Hamby, his sister Jessica Hamby, his sister Juliet Hamby and husband Chris Barfield, his sister Jennifer Kirkham, his sister Lauren Kirkham, his brother Bain and wife Bobbie Hamby, his brother Baron Hamby, and his brother Boone and wife Karen Hamby. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Travis Selner, Emma Bregger, Klara Hamby, Conner Hamby, Taylor Jay Barfield, Autumn Moon Barfield, and Savannah Grace Hamby. Brandt also left in the care of his family his dearest love, Kitty, who will continue to be loved and doted on as he would have wished.
As we celebrate Brandt, we thank him for all the love, kindness of spirit and tenderness that he shared with each of us. We look forward to the moments we will continue to share with him each and every day.
