Mrs. Dorothy Routh Guinn, 87, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital.

She was a native of Saltville Virginia, the daughter of the late Willie and Gussie Frye Routh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Buddy Rough and RD Routh, and one sister Mary Prader.

She was a homemaker and she was a member of Cherokee Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son Charles F. Guinn and wife Karen, one daughter Patsy Byrd and husband Larry, all of Jonesborough, three Grandchildren, Elizabeth Franks, South Carolina, Pam Lewis and husband Mike, Charles Byrd and wife Robin, both of Jonesborough, two Great Grandchildren, Morgan Birchfield and Austin Lewis, one brother Harry Routh, and four sisters, Billie Woliver, Lyda Milhorn, Norma Salyers, and Ercelle Collins.

Funeral services for Mrs. Guinn will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 3 pm at Cherokee Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 till 3 pm at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the Cherokee Baptist Church Cemetery.

Music for the service will be provided by Bill Stoots and Faye Morrow.

Pallbearers will be Charles Byrd, Randy Millhorn, Mike Lewis, Austin Lewis, Nelson Prader, David Guinn, and Todd Lunpkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be friends and family.
