Mrs. Janice E. Ehmke, age 83, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Ehmke was born in Brooklyn, New York.

She hosted the Appalachian Quilting Party in Boone, NC for ten years and was an avid Bowler, belonging to National Bowling 600 Club.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Kenneth A. Ehmke; son, Howard Ehmke, Lake Worth, Florida; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
