Mrs. Irene Marie Honeycutt, age 78, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Honeycutt was born in Cook County, Illinois and daughter of the late Charlie & Pauline Taylor. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Honeycutt was also preceded in death by one son, David Earl Harris, brothers, David Taylor, Robert Taylor and Raymond Taylor, sisters, Josephine Lennox, Ina Mae Lumos, Shirley Shelton and Mildred Badger.

She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church in Elmwood Park, Illinois where she served as Secretary and Treasurer.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Honeycutt, Jonesborough; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Allen & Debra Harris, Chicago, Illinois; daughter, Sandra Lynn Emmett, Cortland, Illinois; two brothers, Chuck Taylor, Glen Ellen, Illinois and Richard Taylor, Florida; Six Grandchildren, three Great Grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedysis Hospice, especially Jessica and Cindy, for their wonderful care.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Monday, September 30, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:30 am Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
