Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips, 86, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Asbury Place in Johnson City.

Elizabeth was a native of Washington County the daughter of the late Cyrus A and Fannie Goodman Harrison. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband James “Buddy” Phillips, three brothers, Raymond Harrison, Herman Harrison, J.L. Harrison, one sister Mildred Johnson, and three nephews, Marshall Harrison, Larry Harrison, and Jackie Harrison.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Non-Denominational Christian Faith.

Survivors include her son Ronnie Phillips and wife Judy, two grandchildren, Amanda Campbell and husband Randy and Ronnie Phillips, two great grandchildren, Katie Earhart and Nolan Phillips, two great great grandchildren, Kadon Earhart and Kloey Earhart, five nieces, Helen Cole, Betty Elliott, Pricilla Grindstaff, Carolyn Smith, Marjorie Snowden, several great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Phillips will be held at 7 pm on Monday, September 2, 2013, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Mr. Don Smith and Mr. Jerome Frandle officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm prior to the service. Interment services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Monte Vista Burial Park in Johnson City.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

The family wants to give a special thanks to the special caregivers of Asbury Place, Caris Heathcare, special friend Geraldine Galloway and the many other special friends who have shown their kindness.
