Mrs. Theresa A. Blevins, age 59, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center after a long illness.

Mrs. Blevins was born in Marion, Virginia and daughter of the late David R. & Ester (Blevins) Greer. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blevins was also preceded in death by a son, Lucas Blevins and a granddaughter, Olivia Nutter.

She was a member of St. Clair Bottom Primitive Baptist Church. She loved her church and enjoyed attending church meetings. She also enjoyed making crafts and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel C. Blevins Jr., Jonesborough; daughter, Hannah Blevins; grandchildren, Elliott Nutter and Lilliann Nutter and their father, Brian Nutter; sisters, Thelma Rouse and Jeannette Heath; brothers, Billy Greer and Daniel Russell Greer; and several nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, July 19, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2013 at St. Clair Bottom Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Kenneth Presnell, Larry Blevins and Benjamin Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-1:00 pm Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
