Juanita J. Holmes Case, 96, passed away Monday morning, June 10, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
She was born February 18, 1917, in Washington County, TN, to the late Charles Luther and Alice Brown Holmes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Case, and a sister, Alma H. Larimer.
Mrs. Case had resided in Kingsport, TN, prior to moving to Winston-Salem, NC, in 2002.
She was a member of The Kingsport Community Church.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, William G. and Mary Ann Case, Rural Hall, NC; four grandchildren, Michelle and husband Randall White, Rural Hall, NC, Danielle Case and step-daughter Juliette Boslough, Winston-Salem, NC, Jennifer and husband Michael Kearns, Lexington, NC, Billie LeAnne and husband Scott Smith, Kernersville, NC; three great-grandsons, Joseph and Joshua Kearns, Lexington, NC, Andrew White, Rural Hall, NC; one brother, Carl Holmes, Homedale, ID; two nieces, Betty Adams and family, Jonesborough, TN, Nancy Rumfelt and husband Jim and family, York, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Bishop Michael Kearns officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday, June 14, 2013 at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
