Mrs. Mary Hazel “Granny Hazel” Edwards, 92, Telford, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Four Oaks Nursing Home.

She was a native of Washington County, the daughter of the late Dewey and Ruby Loyd Keplinger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Ruby Jean Westberry and Linda Nichols and one brother James Keplinger.

Mrs. Edwards was a Homemaker and a member of New Victory Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for over 20 years.

Survivors include three daughters; Brenda Frasier, Lakeland, Florida, Helen Keplinger and husband David, Jonesborough and Patricia Hoggard and husband Ray, Lakeland, Fla., 18 grandchildren, approximately 40 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edwards will be 2 pm Tuesday at New Victory Baptist Church, with Rev. Lester Morelock officiating. There will be a visitation at the church from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow at New Victory Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will also receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons, friends and family.
