Mr. Lawrence Tester, age 75, Jonesborough passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the John M. Reed Nursing Home.

Mr. Tester was born in Johnson City and son of the late Dewey & Ruby Scalf Tester. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tester was also preceded in death by three brothers, Buddy Tester, George Tester and Ralph Tester and one sister, Louise Mann Slemp.

He was a member of Johnson City Church of the Nazarene.

Mr. Tester enjoyed all sports.

Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon & Eddie Rupert, Jonesborough; three special nephews, Allen Rupert (Angie), Robbie Rupert (Vicky) and Darrell Mann; two special nieces, Debbie Tester (Bobby) and Debbie Mann Coffelt; and several other nephews and nieces.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of John M. Reed Nursing Home for their wonderful care.

Friends may visit the family at the home of Sharon & Eddie Rupert.
