Mrs. Eleanor G. Bacon, age 91, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013, at Lakebridge Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Bacon was born in Mills County, Iowa, daughter of the late Isaac Thomas & Mary Lou McClean Good. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bacon was preceded in death by her husband, Reamer Bacon, and daughter, Nancy Bacon Hamilton.
She was a professional seamstress, founding Jonesborough Seamstresses with Mrs. Ruth Stephens in the 1970s.
Survivors include grandson Craig Clarke and great-grandchildren Nathan & Amaya Turner-Clarke, all of Hubbardston, MA, and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery.
