Mr. Doane Privette, age 83, Houston, Texas, died of natural causes on Saturday, May 18th 2013.
He was a native of Johnson City and had lived in Houston for several years.
Mr. Doane was a son of the late Gilbert Sylvester and Gertrude Privette. He was also proceeded in death by his wife, Gertrude Privette, son, Carroll Keplinger, daughters, Kathy Holeman and Kay Privette.
He leaves behind three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Mcleer of Mississippi, Mrs. Linda Campbell of Kentucky and Mrs. Doris Hinote of Texas, two sons, Danny Privette of Tennessee and Timmy Privette of Georgia, one brother, Bill Privette of Tennessee, along with twenty-one grandchildren, fortyone great grandchildren and fourteen great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, May 24, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am Friday prior to service. Interment will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
