Tammy J. Spencer, age 51, of Jonesborough, passed away in her sleep Saturday morning, May 18, 2013.

She was the daughter of Judith Anne Jolley and Sherman Erickson.

In 2003 she retired as a Staff Sergeant (SSG) from the United States Army after 22 years of service.

Survivors include her four children, Melissa Ann Crossley, Joshua Patterson Brown, Megan Marie Brown, and Michael Joseph Patterson Brown; four grandchildren, Marcus Allen Trease, Damion Gage Trease, Marcus Landon Brown, and Andrew Curtis Hamilton. And close friends Dawn Lester, Charles Williams, and Dottie Summie.
