Mrs. Justine Faye Nickels Ramsey, age 72, Gray, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Ramsey was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Wiley P. Nickels, Sr. & Margaret Sue Thompson Nickels. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ramsey was also preceded in death by one brother, Billy Nickels and one sister, Elizabeth Hyatt.

She was of the Baptist faith, Homemaker, Poet and a published Author of short stories.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie Ramsey, Gray; sisters, Sylvia Brummett, Bowling Green, FL, Betty Bowers, Gray, Laura Phillips, Fayetteville, NC, Maxine Ward, Johnson City and Alice Pierce, Gray; brothers, Howard Nickels, Jonesborough, Andrew Nickels, Bowling Green and Michael Nickels, Johnson City.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hodges officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service and other times at the home of her sister, Betty, 125 Wiley Rd. Gray, TN.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Limestone Freewill Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
