Mr. Charles C. Coffie, age 73, Chuckey, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Coffie was born in Erwin and son of the late Bill & Bessie Coffie. In addition to his parents, Mr. Coffie was also preceded in death by his `brothers, Frank Coffie, Henry Coffie, S.J. Coffie and Billy Coffie and one sister, Louise Garland.

He retired from Caterpillar and was a fishing fanatic.

Survivors include one daughter, Charlene Johnson, Chicago; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brent & Kristal Coffie and Bryan & Lisa Coffie, all of Erwin; grandchildren, Erin, Billy, Kristin, Kristopher, Jamie, Steven and Ryan.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
